Join Naman Sharma, an Indian musician and practitioner of Hindustani classical music, for a unique evening exploring the voice, sound, and the rich musical traditions of North India.

This intimate workshop is an invitation to discover your own voice through the practice of Indian classical music. No previous experience is required — simply bring your curiosity and openness to explore.

What We Will Explore

During the workshop, participants will be introduced to the foundations of Hindustani classical music through practical and experiential exercises.

Together, we will explore:

• The natural strength and resonance of your voice

• Breath, listening, and vocal awareness

• Fundamental concepts of Hindustani classical music

• The relationship between melody, rhythm, and expression

• An introduction to ragas and their emotional character

• Singing practices inspired by traditional Indian music

• Using the voice as a tool for presence, expression, and connection

The workshop is designed as a welcoming space for both beginners and people with previous musical experience.

An Evening of Music

The workshop will also include a live concert with Naman Sharma, offering participants and listeners the opportunity to experience Hindustani classical music in performance.

Through the unfolding of ragas, improvisation, and traditional vocal techniques, Naman will take you on a musical journey into the expressive and meditative world of North Indian classical music.
